Description

1. Experienced and discreet dog handlers required as part of close protection teams working within the London area.
2. Both male and female handlers required.
3. Self-employed position
4. Professional and motivated individuals with a genuine high degree of intelligence
5. Preferably from an ex-services background, although this is not absolutely essential
6. Must have a Front Line SIA Licence in Door Supervision as a minimum (Close Protection Licence is preferred)
7. Must hold valid, current British Passport, have fluent English skills written and verbal, along with excellent etiquette skills.
8. Dog(s) must be fully trained, confident, under complete control at all times, and must be recognised working breed (i.e. German/Belgium/Dutch Shepherd, Rottweiler etc.). Assessment of handler and dog will be undertaken at the interview stage to ascertain suitability. Complete control of the dog is absolutely essential to us and must be demonstrated.
9. NASDU and similar qualifications are accepted but NOT essential as can be arranged/provided

DESCRIPTION

Your duties will include generating and covering appointments, and presenting products from the company portfolio. Previous experience in the security industry is an advantage although sales ability is the most important skill required.   This would suit someone who is at present a SIA Security Guard or SIA Security Dog Handler who wishes to move into Sales. The successful candidate will be well presented with a warm demeanour, and will have good interpersonal skills, good organisational skills, time keeping, high levels of self-motivation and pride in personal appearance and performance.

This role involves new business development to find new customers and to establish new and existing key accounts. This would most suit someone with a flair for sales, ambition to be successful and the ability to cold call.

Full UK driving licence is essential, along with own car and mobile phone.  To be determined after a trial period, and to be arranged at interview, you would be offered a business package/deal including a mobile phone along with commission remuneration.

Explosive Search/Screening Handler required for a full time, PAYE position providing services to long term clients.

Applicants must have attended a training course that provides auditable certification of qualification compliant with the minimum standard requirements of BS 8517-2:2010 or above, (NASDU or similar industry organisation or service qualification) or be able to provide the required auditable records & information provided by other training providers that will gain compliance.

The successful applicant will be joining a team of six in house handlers and will be re teamed with two trained search dogs. A company vehicle is provided together with all uniform & equipment.
